The Saolta University Health Care Group have published its 2014 Cancer Centre Annual Report. This Report outlines details of the comprehensive programme of cancer care delivered to people of the West and North West across the hospitals in the Saolta University Health Care Group.

Across the Group in 2014, there were 21,379 episodes of inpatient care for cancer patients – this figure refers to both the number of patients treated in hospital for cancer and the number of times they were treated in hospital.
