“I am delighted that Noreen Fallon was presented with the ‘Outstanding Employee Award’ for her work in the Respiratory Department at the hospital. Noreen works tirelessly to support our patients and has singlehandedly introduced many new initiatives including a pathway for patients with obstructive sleep apnoea, weekly spirometry clinics, fortnightly sleep review clinics and overnight oximetry screening where required. She understands the needs of patients and has excellent relationships with her patients and their families. Noreen is a very worthy winner.”
The Saolta University Health Care Group Staff Recognition Awards take place every 2 years and aim to recognise the important role that staff play in delivering services to patients cared for in all six hospitals in the Group. All applications are judged by an independent panel and the event is self-funded through sponsorship.
