New Designated Parking for Older People at Roscommon University Hospital

Roscommon University Hospital in association with the hospital’s Patient Council and Patient Experience Committee have officially unveiled two new designated parking spaces for older people at the hospital.

The car parking spaces are located at the main entrance and will enable older people to park closer to the hospital and allow more convenient access with greater ease.

Ursula Morgan, Director of Nursing at Roscommon University said,” We are delighted to unveil these new car parking spaces as part of our Quality Improvement Plan based on feedback from patients following the National Inpatient Experience Survey. We hope that this initiative will improve our patients’ journey through the hospital.

“These spaces are courtesy spaces and we hope that other motorists at the hospital will enter into the spirit of this initiative and leave these dedicated spaces free for older people who need them.”
