Limited visiting access due to COVID-19

Our hospitals are dealing with outbreaks of COVID-19 affecting a number of wards. We will only allow visits to these wards on an exceptional basis, and on compassionate grounds. To arrange a visit, please contact the ward manager. Before coming to hospital please check the arrangements in place in your local hospital using this link: https://www2.hse.ie/services/hospital-service-disruptions/hospital-servi...

Anyone coming to the hospital must complete a COVID-19 screening checklist and follow public health guidance, including wearing a face mask and performing good hand hygiene regularly.

Please do not visit the hospital if you have symptoms of COVID-19 (high temperature, cough, shortness of breath, or loss or change to your sense of smell or taste).

The current visiting restrictions are kept under review and will be updated in line with national recommendations.

There are separate arrangements in place for access to the maternity department for nominated support partners, in line with national guidance.
