Description

Sligo University Hospital is seeking to recruit a Clinical Nurse Manager II for their Surgical Gynae Department.

Location of Post

There is currently one whole-time vacancy available in Surgical Gynae, Sligo University Hospital which will be filled on a permanent basis. The successful candidate may be required to work in any service area within the vicinity as the need arises.

A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Sligo University Hospital from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.

Purpose of the Post:

The post of CNM 2 (Surgical Gynae) has a pivotal role in service planning, co-ordinating, and managing activity and resources within the clinical area. The main responsibilities are: quality assurance, resource management, staffing and staff development, practice development, facilitating communication and professional / clinical leadership.
