Establishing Hospital Trusts-Strategic Input to Future Legislation Workshop
The West/North West Hospitals Group and NUI Galway, in partnership with EY, recently organised a high level workshop in NUI Galway to promote greater understanding of the legislative and governance structures that will need to be developed to facilitate hospital groups evolving into ‘Trusts’. Key leaders from the UK looked at lessons learned within the NHS Foundation Trust system and shared their experience with senior health officials, policy makers and hospital managers in Ireland.
