Resulting in patient recognition/nomination, the Radiology Department at Portiuncula University Hospital was considered for inspection by Irish Institute of Radiography and Radiation and following on from a detailed inspection, department visit and patient interviews, the Radiology Department was shortlisted.

The winner will be decided by combining the results of a public vote (30%) and site visit (70%). The online voting system is now open until 14 September whereby the public will be allowed to vote for their favourite department. Votes can be cast online only by visiting www.iirrt.ie

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 08 October at the annual IIRRT conference.
