The Candidate ANP’s in Benign Urology is required to progress to registration with Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) (NMBI) as a Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner (RANP) within 3 years of commencement of this post.

The current post available is temporary for 1 year.  Assignment will be to Galway University Hospitals, with commitment to deliver community clinics in CHO West.

 

CHO West covers counties Galway, Mayo and Roscommon

 

The cANP is required to progress to ANP within 3 years. The role will include training in Lower urinary tract symptoms assessment, Urodynamic studies and Lithotripsy.

 

The successful candidates may be required to work in any service area within the vicinity as the need arises.

 

A panel may be formed for Candidate Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Benign Urology, Galway University Hospitals from which current and future specified purpose posts of full time or part time duration may be filled
