Initial assignment is available in the Microbiology Department, Galway University Hospitals.
The successful candidate may be required to work in any service area within the vicinity as the need arises.
There is currently one permanent whole-time position and one permanent part-time position available.
A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Medical Scientist, Staff Grade, Microbiology Department from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.

Post Specific Related Information
Demonstrate previous experience in a laboratory setting as relevant to the role.
Experience in an ISO 15189 certified Medical Microbiology Laboratory is desirable.
