Initial assignment will be to University Hospital Galway and Merlin Park hospitals.

A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for G11776 from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.

Post Specific Related Information
- The cCNS will have a pivotal role within the multidisciplinary team developing Diabetes services, developing service plans, co-ordinating and managing activity & resources.
- The cCNS will be working as part of the comprehensive regional Diabetes programmes.
- To co-ordinate the provision of patient centred care both in hospital and in the community.
- To provide evidenced based patient care.
- To provide comprehensive education and support to patients with Diabetes.
- The main responsibilities are quality assurance, resource management, staffing and staff development, facilitating communication and professional/clinical leadership.
